After singing Amelia (Un ballo in maschera) at the Teatro Regio in Turin in 2012, she positioned herself as one of the most prestigious sopranos of her generation. She made her debut at the Salzburg Festival in the role of Abigail in Nabucco, directed by Riccardo Muti, and later she performed at the Arena in Verona, Palazzo delle Arti Reina Sofia in Valencia, NCPA in Beijing, alla Scalla in Milan and in the cities of Fidenza, Carpi, Ljubljana and Cagliari, among others. Recent engagements include Lady Macbeth in Bologna, San Pablo and Cagliari, Lucrezia Contarini (I due Foscari) in Milan, Leonora (Il Trovatore) in London and Bologna, Amelia (Un ballo in maschera) in Monaco and Parma, Magdalena (Andrea Chénier) and Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana) in Naples and Rome, among many others. In 2018 she sang for the first time three important roles: Odabella in Attila in the Gran Teatro Liceu, Norma in the ABAO of Bilbao and Manon Lescaut in the Liège Opera. Pirozzi performs regularly with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Nello Santi, Nicola Luisotti, Daniel Oren, Donato Renzetti, Gianandrea Noseda, Michele Mariotti and Renato Palumbo. Born in Naples, she began her vocal studies at the Musical Institute of Valle d' Aosta, graduated from the Conservatory G. Verdi with soprano Silvana Moyso and took master classes with Daniela Dessi, Mirella Freni, Luciana D'Intino, Rockwell Blake and Sylvie Valayre.
