With a repertoire ranging from classical to contemporary opera, he has performed in venues such as the Fenice in Venice, the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Nationaltheater in Munich, the Deutsche and Komische Oper in Berlin, Theater an der Wien, Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, Toulouse, Monaco, Seattle, Houston, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo, Tokyo and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, among others. He worked with conductors such as Jeffrey Tate, Gabriele Ferro, Pinchas Steinberg, Christoph Eschenbach, Paul Daniel, Jean-Claude Malgoire, Antonio Ros-Marbá, John Axelrod, Andrea Battistoni and Alejo Pérez.
At the Teatro Colón he sang in Faust with staging by Roberto Oswald (1990), Don Giovanni and Guayaquil (both in 1993), Janácek's La zorrita astuta (2000), Gandini's Liederkreis (2001), Glanert's Calígula (2014), Lombardero's Parsifal (2015), Der Rosenkavalier (2017) and Öetvös's Three Sisters (2018) with R. Szuchmacher.
