He has developed his career mainly in South America, singing in the main theatres in Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru and Ecuador. In 2012 he made his European debut as Escamillo in Carmen, at the Massimo Bellini Theatre in Catania, and Mephisto in Faust, in Metz, France. As a baritone he played roles as Wotan, The Dutchman, Jochanaan, Scarpia, Escamillo, Amonasro, Don Pizarro, Don Giovanni and Il Duce. As bass he played Attila, Felipe II, Silva, Zaccaria, Fiesco, Banquo, Sparafucile, the four villains in The Tales of Hoffmann and Mephistopheles, among others.
His symphonic-choral repertoire includes Verdi's Requiem, Great Mass in C minor and Mozart's Requiem, Stabat Mater from Dvořák and Beethoven's Ninth Symphony.
