He studied with Julio Pages Abril and Carlos Malloyer. His European debut was in 1994 in Madrid, as the protagonist of La Verbena de la Paloma at the Teatro Lírico Nacional de la Zarzuela. He played the leading roles of Nabucco, Aida, Rigoletto, Don Carlo, La Traviata, La Bohème, Falstaff and Otello, in theatres such as Carnegie Hall, Teatro Real de Madrid, Montpellier Festival, Teatro Massimo de Palermo, Teatro Regio di Parma. The Association of Music Critics of Argentina distinguished him as Best Singer in 2010. In 2017 he sang in La Traviata at the Teatro Colón and was Amonasro and Nabucco in Aida and Nabucco respectively, at the Verona Arena Summer Festival.
