Macarena Giménez

She studied at Teatro Colón’s Instituto Superior de Arte with masters such as Olga Ferri, Haichi Akamine, Sara Reszotko and Ricardo Rivas. Prepared by Ferri, she was admitted to the Ballettschule Hamburg, Germany. In 2008 she joined Iñaki Urlezaga's Ballet Concierto, touring around the world as leading role. In 2012 she joined the Teatro Colón Permanent Ballet dancing as soloist and principal dancer in classical and contemporary pieces, such as La Bayadera, La Sylphide, The Corsair, Don Quixote, The Nutcracker, Giselle, Swan Lake, Before Nightfall, Interlaced Symphony, Technical Fugue, Sylvia, In the Middle and Por vos muero, among others.
