He was born in Buenos Aires, where he studied music, filmmaking, theater direction and art history at the University of Buenos Aires. He graduated from the ISATC, where he later taught his specialty. He has staged numerous operas and zarzuelas, directing in theaters such as the Real de Madrid, Bellas Artes de México, Euskalduna de Bilbao, Municipal de San Pablo, Argentino de La Plata, Anayansi de Panamá, Pérez Galdós de Canarias and the Solís de Montevideo. His performance of La Cenerentola at the Santiago de Chile Municipal, where he also directed Aida, won the prize for the best operatic production of that season. Among his works in this theater are Don Pasquale, Rigoletto and Manon Lescaut.
