He began his career at the Teatro Colón and he has been supervisor of the Lighting Section since 1988. He is currently Head of the section. He has designed lights for ballets such as Swan Lake, Romeo and Juliet, Paquita, Giselle, Coppelia, La Silphyde, Carmen and Niño brujo, among others. In opera, he worked on the designs of Andrea Chénier, Don Quixote, Bluebeard's Castle, Tosca, Il Puritanni, Don Giovanni, Capriccio, Boris, Manon Lescaut, The Occasion Makes the Thief, The Emperor of Atlantis, I Pagliacci, Cavaleria Rusticana, Ariadne's Lament, Werther, Ernani, La Traviatta and Attila.
