Faust, by Charles Gounod in the vision of the Peruvian artist José Tola, is an opera in five acts, with a libretto by Jules Barbier and Michel Carré, based on Faust et Marguerite de Carré and Faust (part I) by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
This production was presented in November 2017 in Peru’s Gran Teatro Nacional, with the Peruvian National Symphony Orchestra and Choir and the Argentinean singer Hernán Iturralde among the main roles together with renowned international soloists.
