The Israel Philharmonic Orchestra was founded in 1936 and its inaugural concert in Tel Aviv was conducted by Arturo Toscanini. That same year, Zubin Mehta was born in Bombay, India. With half a century at the head of this legendary formation, the most popular conductor on the planet and one of the most renowned international artists bids farewell to the Teatro Colón with these concerts.
