Escalandrum, the band led by Daniel "Pipi" Piazzolla, won the Gardel Award for Best Jazz Album in 2012 for their album "Piazzolla plays Piazzolla". On this occasion, the group will perform with guest artists such as Chango Spasiuk, Gustavo Bergalli, Raúl Lavié, Elena Roger and Jairo.
