Portrait of a lost world, the search for love and youth, The knight of the rose is one of the main titles of late Romanticism. Written in a comedic tone, Strauss and Von Hoffmannsthal's piece returns, 102 years after its first local version, from a figure unknown to Argentine audiences and acclaimed around the world, Canadian Robert Carsen. The cast is completed by Alejo Pérez as musical director, the German soprano Manuela Uhl and Austrian bass Kurt Rydl.
