Enrique Arturo Diemecke

General Artistic and Production Director of the Teatro Colón since 2017, he has been music director of the Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra for 14 years and artistic director of the Flint Symphony Orchestra for 31 years, in Michigan (US).

Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra

Created in 1946 with the name of "Municipal Theater Symphony Orchestra", it was the first exclusively symphonic official orchestra of the city of Buenos Aires. Its first regular directors were the teachers Lamberto Baldi and Jaime Pahissa.

Stable Choir

The Stable Choir of the Teatro Colón was created in 1925. In its first season it was directed by Achille Consoli and César Stiattesi. The following year, Rafael Terragnolo took over, and he continued to lead the Coro for twenty-five years.

Nació en Uruguay y se formó con la soprano Beatriz Pazos y en la Escuela Nacional de Arte Lírico del SODRE. Becado por el Fondo Nacional de Música, estudió repertorio de cámara con Guillermo Opitz en Buenos Aires.
