Eiji Oue

He was born in Hiroshima. At the age of 15 he entered the Toho Gakuen School of Music, where he studied with Hideo Saito, Seiji Ozawa's teacher. In 1978 Ozawa invited him to study at the Tanglewood Music Center; there he met Leonard Bernstein who became his mentor.

Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra

Created in 1946 with the name of "Municipal Theater Symphony Orchestra", it was the first exclusively symphonic official orchestra of the city of Buenos Aires. Its first regular directors were the teachers Lamberto Baldi and Jaime Pahissa.
