OPERA IN FOUR ACTS (1896)
BOOKLET BY GIUSEPPE GIACOSA AND LUIGI ILICA,
BASED ON SCENES FROM HENRI MURGER'S BOHEMIAN LIFE CO-PRODUCTION WITH THE OPERA OF TENERIFE (SPAIN) AND THE NATIONAL AUDITORIUM OF SODRE (URUGUAY)

The most performed opera of the 20th century continues to bring tears and smiles to the 21st. The story of the four bohemians who live on the edge of misery, suffering for love and enjoying it, is an everlasting classic. The poet Rodolfo, the painter Marcello, the musician Schaunard and the philosopher Colline will once again confront the whims of the modest seamstress Mimi and the scandalous singer Musetta. A cast of some of the most interesting voices of our country and the world will meet in this co-production that renews the view on the beloved Puccini.
