Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra

Created in 1946 with the name of "Municipal Theater Symphony Orchestra", it was the first exclusively symphonic official orchestra of the city of Buenos Aires. Its first regular directors were the teachers Lamberto Baldi and Jaime Pahissa.

Homero Francesch

He was born in Montevideo where he studied with Santiago Baranda Reyes. With a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service, he continued his studies in Munich in 1967 with Hugo Steurer and Ludwig Hoffmann.
