He was born in Buenos Aires, where he studied piano, composition and conducting, he attended Peter Eötvös and Christoph von Dohnányi.

Buenos Aires Philharmonic Orchestra

Created in 1946 with the name of "Municipal Theater Symphony Orchestra", it was the first exclusively symphonic official orchestra of the city of Buenos Aires. Its first regular directors were the teachers Lamberto Baldi and Jaime Pahissa.

Stable Choir

The Stable Choir of the Teatro Colón was created in 1925. In its first season it was directed by Achille Consoli and César Stiattesi. The following year, Rafael Terragnolo took over, and he continued to lead the Coro for twenty-five years.
