Silvio Viegas

A Brazilian conductor with an outstanding Latin American career, he is currently the Principal Conductor of the Minas Gerais Symphony Orchestra, of the Palácio das Artes in Belo Horizonte and holds the chair of Orchestral Conducting at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Stable Choir

The Stable Choir of the Teatro Colón was created in 1925. In its first season it was directed by Achille Consoli and César Stiattesi. The following year, Rafael Terragnolo took over, and he continued to lead the Coro for twenty-five years.
