CHOREOGRAPHY ANNA MARIE HOLMES
TEATRO COLÓN PRODUCTION

Corsair Conrad, his slave Ali and his friend Birbanto sail on a pirate ship in direction to Turkey. Arriving at the great market where buyers, merchants and also beautiful slaves traders meet, Conrad discovers young Greek Medora and is dazzled by his charms. Inspired by Lord Byron's poem, although turned to comedy, with music by Adolphe Adam, Cesare Pugni, Riccardo Drigo and Léo Delibes and, fundamentally, the extraordinary choreography of the Canadian Anna Marie Holmes. An acclaimed Teatro Colón production that returns to its stage.
