English Baroque Soloist

Descripción

More than 50 years ago, the Monteverdi Choir was formed to make a unique presentation on the occasion of the 1610 Vespers of Monteverdi, at Kings College Chapel in Cambridge. Since then, the sets of Sir John Eliot Gardiner were expanded to include the English Baroque Soloists and the Orchester Révolutionnaire et Romantique (four years later the Monteverdi Orchestra was created). The groups made international tours, award-winning recordings and achieved worldwide fame for the interpretation of Baroque music. This is a magnificent opportunity to appreciate, within the scope of our coliseum, the choir, its prestigious soloists and their excellent conductor.
