Philippe Jaroussky

One of the best countertenors of the world comes back to Teatro Colón. His technique allows him the most audacious nuances and impressive pyrotechnics. Jaroussky (1978) has explored a vast Baroque repertoire, from the refinement of the Italian Seicento with Monteverdi, to the staggering brilliance of Handel and Vivaldi arias. He has worked with renowned period-instrument orchestras such as Les Arts Florissants, Les Musiciens du Louvre, Le Concert d'Astrée, and with conductors including William Christie, Marc Minkowski and René Jacobs. He will be accompanied by Le Concert de la Loge, founded in 2015 with the ambition of reviving a bond with the musical history of France, Le Concert de la Loge of 1783.
